Foreign Personages Mourn Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 27 (KCNA) -- Personages of Russia, Nepal and Peru contributed articles to media on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Oleg Kozhemyako, governor of Amur Region of Russia, in an article titled "Condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il" posted on an Internet homepage on Dec 20, noted Kim Jong Il made a great contribution to the development of the cooperation between Russia and the DPRK.

Recollecting the days when he had the honor of being received by Kim Jong Il several times in the past, he introduced his enchanting personality.

Manju Ratna Sakya, chairwoman of the Nepal Journalist Association in an article contributed to the Dec. 23 issue of the Nepali paper Arpan said that the demise of Kim Jong Il is the greatest loss to the Korean people and great sorrow and pain to progressive humankind.

The appearance of the Korean people stricken with grief and sorrow clearly shows what great feats he performed for the country's prosperity and people's happiness, the article noted.

Yuri Castro Romero, secretary general of the Peruvian-Korean Institute of Culture and Friendship, in an article he posted on its Internet homepage on Dec. 20, praised the undying feats performed by Kim Jong Il before the era and history.
