Officials in Field of Agriculture Mourn Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Grief over the untimely demise of leader Kim Jong Il is growing deeper with the passage of time.

Officials and workers in the field of agriculture across the country are visiting mourning stations where portraits of Kim Jong Il are displayed and expressing deepest condolences on his demise.

An atmosphere of mourning is running high at the units honored with the field guidance by Kim Jong Il including cooperative farms in Unhung in Thaechon County, Oguk in Anak County and Yangdong in Unpha County.

Co-op farms in Ryongsan in Ryokpho District of Pyongyang, Porim in Onchon County, Ryongchon in Hwangju County and Posok in Unjon County were crowded with an endless stream of mourners.

Lamentation could be heard from mourning stations at various units including Mangyongdae and Chilgol Vegetable Farms in Mangyongdae District.

The mourners are renewing their firm will to bring about a steady boost in agricultural production, looking up to the image of Kim Jong Il who dedicated himself to the work to let the Korean people live as well as others.
