Memorial Services for Kim Jong Il Held in Mongolia and Mozambique

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Memorial services were held by the Mt. Paektu Association for Independent Development of Mongolia, the Mongolia-DPRK Friendship Joint Venture Hospital and a hospital in Mozambique on Dec. 21 and 23 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Present there were personages of various circles and masses of those countries.

The participants observed silent tribute and expressed deep condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il.

Introduced there was a short history of his revolutionary activities.

The executive chairman of the above-said association noted that Kim Jong Il conducted energetic external activities, remarkably raising the international prestige and dignity of the DPRK and making an immortal contribution to accomplishing the human cause of independence.

The director of the hospital in Mozambique expressed his deep condolences over the demise of Kim Jong Il, saying that he was a great leader who made an undying contribution to the accomplishment of the human cause of independence.
