Memorial Services for Kim Jong Il Held in Nepal

Pyongyang, December 26 (KCNA) -- Memorial services were held at the C.C., Nepal Worker-Peasant Party and the National Press Club of Nepal on December 23 on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

The participants left bunches of flowers before his portrait and paid silent tribute to him.

The speakers including the chairman of the C.C., Nepal Worker-Peasant Party expressed deep condolences on the demise of Kim Jong Il and hoped that the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people would overcome bitter sorrow and display strength and courage.

They noted that though Kim Jong Il passed away, the feats he performed for global independence and anti-imperialist struggle would shine long.

The chairman of the Study and Research Forum of Songun Politics of the National Press Club of Nepal praised the immortal feats Kim Jong Il performed for the Korean revolution and the world revolution.

He expressed belief that the Korean people would accomplish the revolutionary cause of Juche under the leadership of Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the WPK.

A message to Kim Jong Un was adopted at the memorial service at the National Press Club of Nepal.
