Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- KBS of south Korea reported on Friday that all people in the north are mourning in bitterest sorrow over the untimely demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

It added a large crowd of people from all walks of life in Pyongyang and local areas are mourning his demise everyday despite temperature going below zero.

Saying that even little school children are weeping bitterly, KBS noted that a total of more than 43 million people in the north turned out to mourn the leader's demise in three days since they heard the news of the demise of Chairman of the National Defence Commission Kim Jong Il.

The atmosphere of mourning the demise of Chairman Kim Jong Il is running higher in the north as days go by, said KBS.
