Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of condolences from Serge Sarkissian, president of Armenia, on Monday.

The president in the message said on behalf of the Armenian people and on his own he expresses profound condolences over the demise of His Excellency Kim Jong Il.

He hoped the Korean people would display fortitude and indomitable will.
