Snowfall Makes Koreans Sorely Miss Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- December 24 marks the 20th anniversary of Kim Jong Il as supreme commander of the Korean People's Army.

Early this morning snow fell to cover the land of the country, enveloped in grief at the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

But the snowfall gives no joy to the Korean people, even to children this time. It only makes them sorely miss Kim Jong Il.

He deemed it his greatest happiness and pride to devote all his life to the country, revolution and the people.

He found his pleasure in devotedly working for the people. He, unconcerned about his disease, continued giving field guidance to army units, factories and farms in order to lay foundations of a thriving nation.

Ji Yong Song, a 70-year-old man living in Pothonggang District, Pyongyang told KCNA, "Snowfall makes me miss Kim Jong Il so much."
