On this occasion, many servicepersons and people have visited her statue in Hoeryong City, North Hamgyong Province, with bitter grief at the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

Yu Kwang Ryol, an official of the Hoeryong City People's Committee, told KCNA:

"We used to come here this day every year and vow before her statue to faithfully uphold the leadership of Kim Jong Il. We have never expected that we would stand before her statue with such a deep grief."

Song Yong Nam, an officer of the Korean People's Army who visited the Revolutionary Martyrs Cemetery on Mt. Taesong in Pyongyang, said:

"I will do my best to glorify the great exploits Kim Jong Suk performed in ensuring the continuity of the Juche-based revolutionary cause. The three commanders of Mt.
