Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- A mourners' visiting group of the World Peace Federation headed by its President Moon Hyung Jin Saturday laid a wreath before the portrait of leader Kim Jong Il with smile on his face at Kim Il Sung Square.

Amid the playing of the dirge, a wreath was laid before the portrait in the name of the group.

Members of the group observed a moment's silence in memory of Kim Jong Il who dedicated his whole life to the country and the people and made immortal contributions to the cause of independent reunification of the country

This day, the group arrived here to mourn his demise.
