Workers of Metal Industrial Sector Effort for Increased Production

Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Korean workers of the metal industrial sector are turning out in the effort for implementing the behests of leader Kim Jong Il.

The workers of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex are now striving to overfulfill their yearly production plan.

Over the past five days they have increased pig iron production 50 percent compared with the same days of last month.

The Hwanghae Iron and Steel Complex has boosted the heavy rail production from December 22, while the Chollima Steel Complex has raised steel production to fully supply rails to coal mines.

The Posan Iron Works has increased Juche iron output that leader Kim Jong Il had paid deep concern to in his lifetime.

The Musan Mining Complex is keeping all equipment in full-capacity operation to raise iron ore production.

The workers of the Unryul, Jaeryong, Jangsan and Saenggiryong mines have also made redoubled effort for increased production, turning their grief into strength and courage.
