Kim Jong Suk Praised by Bangladeshi Papers

Pyongyang, December 24 (KCNA) -- Newspapers of Bangladesh carried articles on the occasion of the 94th birth anniversary of anti-Japanese war hero Kim Jong Suk.

The Dec. 18 issue of Ekota said in an article titled "Kim Jong Suk Pyongyang Silk Mill":

She visited factories, rural villages, schools, hospitals, nurseries and many other units for just four years from the country's liberation till the last moments of her life, assisting President Kim Il Sung in his work.

There is in Pyongyang, the capital of the DPRK, the Kim Jong Suk Silk Mill associated with the footprints of Kim Jong Suk whom the Korean people and the world progressives praise as an anti-Japanese war hero, the article noted, and went on:

When visiting the mill on April 12, 1947 she urged its officials to love the workers, mindful that it is not machines but people that do job.

She stressed the need to pay deep attention to working and living conditions of workers, to the living of the lodgers, in particular.

The mill has made steady progress as a producer of silk yarn, a specialty of Korea, thanks to the field guidance given by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il many times.

Natun Katha on Dec. 19 carried an article titled "Life Dedicated to Others." It spoke highly of the noble personality of Kim Jong Suk who dedicated herself to comrades and people.
