Pyongyang, December 23 (KCNA) -- Kim Yong Nam, president of the Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly, Friday sent a congratulatory message to Eveline Widmer-Schlumpf upon her election as Swiss president.

Kim, in the message, wished the president successes in her work for the country's prosperity and the people's well-being.
