Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Sudanese President Omar Hassan Ahmad Al－Bashir expressed deep condolences on the demise of leader Kim Jong Il.

He said, when receiving on Monday credentials from Kim Hyok Chol, DPRK ambassador to Sudan:

I express deep condolences to the Korean people in a profound grief over the sudden demise of the great leader HE Kim Jong Il.

His demise is sorrow not only of the Korean people but also of the Sudanese people.

The demise of HE Kim Jong Il who led the confrontation with the imperialists is a great loss to the world progressive forces including Sudan.

I express belief that as they are led by HE General Kim Jong Un the heroic Korean people will bravely overcome the present sorrow and continue advancing the noble cause of HE Kim Jong Il with courage.
