Overseas Koreans Mourn Demise of Kim Jong Il

Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Koreans in foreign countries expressed profound condolences over the demise of leader Kim Jong Il, shocked by the sad news which came like a bolt from the blue.

Representatives of the Federation of Koreans in the United States and other organizations of Koreans there on Tuesday called at the DPRK permanent mission at the United Nations to mourn his demise.

Koreans residing in Khabarovsk City of Russia visited the DPRK mission in the city to mourn his demise on Wednesday.

They laid bouquets before his portrait and paid silent tribute to him.
