Pyongyang, December 22 (KCNA) -- Foreign media and internet reported on Dec. 20 and 21 the news that Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, expressed deep condolences to the bier of leader Kim Jong Il.

Xinhua reported that a ceremony for expressing condolences to the bier of supreme leader Kim Jong Il was solemnly held in the DPRK on Dec. 20.

The People's Daily and Huan Qiu Shibao of China reported that Kim Jong Un together with leading officials of the party, state and armed forces bodies visited the bier of General Secretary Kim Jong Il which is placed in the Kumsusan Memorial Palace to express deep condolences.

The CCTV showed Kim Jong Un going round the bier.
