Pyongyang, December 20 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, vice-chairman of the Central Military Commission of the Workers' Party of Korea, received a message of condolences from Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad al-Thani, vice-emir and heir apparent of the State of Qatar, on Monday.

The message said:

Please accept, Your Excellency, my sincere condolences and sympathy on the sorrowful demise of HE Chairman Kim Jong Il.

May his soul rest in peace.
