Junggang Revolutionary Site

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The Junggang Revolutionary Site is situated in Jagang Province in the northern part of the DPRK.

The site is associated with revolutionary activities of Kim Hyong Jik, an outstanding leader of the anti-Japanese national liberation movement in Korea.

Staying at Junggang Inn as a medical man with his family members, he conducted activities to rally the proletarian masses and separate armed organizations for the anti-Japanese struggle.

President Kim Il Sung, a son of Kim Hyong Jik, helped him in his revolutionary activities, receiving patriotic and revolutionary education from his father.

Seen in the site are a statue of Kim Hyong Jik, a monument to his revolutionary activities and the Junggang Revolutionary Museum.
