U.S. Extraterritorial Action Censured by Paper of Trinidad and Tobago

Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- Trinidad Guardian, a newspaper of Trinidad and Tobago, in a recent editorial denounced the U.S. for its extraterritorial action.

The U.S. threw obstacles in the way of discussing the issue of the venue of the Cuba-Caricom summit held in Trinidad and Tobago, it said, labeling it an extraterritorial practice.

The U.S. applied its outdated "Helums-Button Law" to that country, insulting its government and people, the paper said, adding that no moves of the U.S. can block the development of cooperative relations between Cuba and Caricom member nations.
