Pyongyang, December 17 (KCNA) -- The Pusan Headquarters of the South Side Committee for Implementing the June 15 Joint Declaration in a press conference in Pusan on Wednesday stroke out at the puppet National Intelligence Service (NIS) for groundlessly investigating an official of the headquarters on charges of spying for the north.

Speakers in the conference recalled that last year the Pusan branch of the NIS investigated a secretary of the organization, charging that he received operational funds from the north.

It is groundless for the branch to insist that 90 million won in his personal bankbook are the operational funds he received from the north, contended the speakers.

They urged the NIS to bear responsibility for faking up a false story and charging an innocent person with spying.

The NIS engrossed in making false stories will never be able to evade severe judgment by the people, they warned.
