Rodong Sinmun Slashes at S. Korea's Anti-DPRK "Human Rights" Campaign

Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The south Korean authorities are kicking up smear "human rights" campaign against the DPRK by instigating wicked conservative elements and human scum who betrayed the nation.

Rodong Sinmun Wednesday says in a bylined commentary in this regard:

The campaign is another blatant challenge to the dignity and sovereignty of the DPRK and a deliberate act to prevent the north-south relations from improving and escalate confrontation between systems, the commentary notes, and goes on:

It is a trite method of the south Korean conservative group to slander the DPRK over its non-existent human rights issue.

The group's "human rights" racket getting increasingly reckless clearly shows that its oft-repeated "flexibility" is nothing but a spurious signboard to cover up its sinister attempt to escalate confrontation.

The south Korean ruling forces, driven to a tight corner for their incompetence, failed domestic and foreign policies and public protest and denunciation that followed, are finding themselves in the plight in which it is hard to maintain power, much less winning another term next year. Much upset by this, the group of traitors is becoming desperate in smear "human rights" campaign in a bid to divert elsewhere the public criticism, justify its moves to escalate confrontation with fellow countrymen and prolong its remaining days. It is sordid for the conservative group to try to tide over the crisis caused by its treachery by doing harm to the fellow countrymen.

The group had better be concerned about its own destiny at stake before finding fault with others.
