Pyongyang, December 14 (KCNA) -- The Switzerland-Korea Committee and the Swiss Group for the Study of the Juche Idea on Dec. 4 posted on Internet homepage an article titled "Anniversary of Songun Revolution" to mark the 20th anniversary of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's assumption of supreme commandership of the Korean People's Army and the 94th birth anniversary of Kim Jong Suk, an anti-Japanese war hero,.

The article said:

Kim Jong Il has wisely led the army building, holding aloft the banner of the Songun idea created by President Kim Il Sung for the past 20 years.

Under the Songun revolutionary leadership of Supreme Commander Kim Jong Il the KPA has won victory after victory in the showdown with the U.S. imperialists and reliably defended the socialist bulwark. It has also grown up to be the matchless army able to decisively defeat any military threat and aggression of the imperialists.

The Korean people praise the revolutionary feats of Kim Jong Suk, woman commander of Mt. Paektu, with the approach of her 94th birth anniversary, the article said, adding:

Kim Jong Suk is a model revolutionary who devoted her all to guarding safety of Kim Il Sung and faithfully aiding his work. She is the great mother of revolution who brought up Kim Jong Il to be son of the country and brilliant Songun commander of Mt. Paektu carrying forward the revolutionary cause of Juche.

Her life will be everlasting with the history as she performed undying exploits for the country and the nation.
