Pyongyang, December 12 (KCNA) -- China's deputy permanent representative to the United Nations said the country would contribute to achieving peace of oceans and ensuring balance between their scientific protection and rational use.

Speaking at a recent UN General Assembly meeting, Wang Min said China would take advantage of the 30th anniversary of the UN Convention on the Law of the Sea (UNCLOS) to make greater efforts together with other countries to build harmonious oceans.
