Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- Anti-capitalism demonstrations are taking place in Washington everyday.

The demonstrations that had continued for three consecutive days till Dec. 8 were participated in by thousands of people of different strata.

The participants strongly protested against the social inequality caused by embezzlement of the rich and the capitalist system.

They stated the majority toiling masses who account for 99 per cent of the population are suffering from the economic crisis, urging the authorities to take measures to settle the crisis.

The riot police arrested at least 70 protestors on Dec. 7 alone.
