Japan's Ambition for Militarism Exposed by Regional Organization

Pyongyang, December 10 (KCNA) -- The International Alliance of Societies for the Study of the Juche Idea and Songun Policy in East European and Central Asian Regions on Dec. 5 posted on its Internet homepage an article titled "Japan's ambition for militarism".

Ultra-rightist politicians of Japan thronged to Yasukuni Shrine on August 15 this year, the article said, adding:

Their visit to the shrine on the anniversary of Korea's liberation from the Japanese imperialists' colonial rule was an unpardonable insult and a mockery of the Korean people.

What enrages the people is that the high-ranking politicians of Japan have openly defended prime war criminals who were executed for their crimes against humanity during World War II.

The ultra-rightist maniacs have become vocal calling for "reinstating" the honor of those who were buried in the shrine and saying that those who do not visit the shrine "can not be called Japanese." This suggests Japan's attempt to revive militarism has reached the extreme phase.

Militarist hysteria pervading the Japanese society hints that it is a matter of time for Japan to launch reinvasion of Korea and other Asian countries.

Japan's attempt to revive militarism will bring its ruin.
