Kamsin Tomb, One of Korean Nation's Cultural Heritages

Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Kamsin tomb in Nampho City, Korea, is a mural tomb dating back to Koguryo Kingdom (B.C. 277-A.D. 668)

The half-underground tomb consists of a corridor and chambers.

Figure and genre paintings were drawn on the plastered walls of the chambers.

The paintings portray a musical band, wagons, servants and servicepersons to present the dignified appearance of the deceased.

They showcase musical instruments, weapons, architecture, lifestyle and customs and military uniforms in the period of Koguryo Kingdom.

The tomb, preserved as one of the Korean nation's cultural heritages, is indicative of the developed culture of Koguryo in the early 4th century.
