Pyongyang, December 9 (KCNA) -- The Ryongsong Machine Complex of the DPRK was awarded the title of Labor Hero and Gold Medal (Hammer and Sickle) and Order of National Flag First Class.

By displaying the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance, the complex successfully produced up-to-date equipment, large-size equipment and installations, urgently needed in different domains of the national economy, with its own efforts and technology in a short span of time.

The Presidium of the DPRK Supreme People's Assembly on Wednesday issued a decree on awarding the title to the complex.
