Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- The Palestinian National Authority (PNA) on Saturday condemned what came in the video showing Israeli soldiers humiliating two Palestinians they had just detained.

"We strongly condemn what came in the video," said Ghassan al- Khatib, spokesman for the Palestinian government in the West Bank.

The video clip was first aired by Israel's Channel 2 Friday evening. It shows soldiers humiliating two blindfolded youths who were arrested at a West Bank checkpoint.

"This unfortunately expresses a daily routine in which Palestinian people (are) insulted by the occupation army or settlers," Al-Khatib said. He hoped the video could help spark international condemnation and pressure on Israel to end the way it treats Palestinians in the West Bank.
