Moscow, December 6 (KCNA) -- The Aerospace Defence Army of Russia was recently organized on the order of Russian President Dmitri Medvedev.

Its mission is reportedly to beat back any missile attack from the enemies and carry out air defence duty.

The commanding post of the defence army on Dec. 1 went on the first combat duty to operate the early warning system on missile attack, anti-missile system and anti-air raid system and control space.
