Beijing, December 6 (KCNA) -- The Central Committee of the Communist Party and the State Council of China recently issued a notice on the outline of a drive to relieve rural poverty.

The notice stressed the need for party committees and governments at different levels to recognize the urgency of this drive and strengthen their guidance over it and wage a new offensive to relieve poverty with high sense of responsibility.

It called for wide and in-depth publicity to create good atmosphere in which the whole party and society pay attention and give support to the rural poverty relief campaign.
