University Teachers Contribute to Updating Industrial Establishments

Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- Kim Chaek University of Technology has applied more than 200 new cutting-edge technologies to 170 industrial establishments in the country over the past three years.

The university has rendered technological assistance to the updating of production processes and management of the Kim Chaek Iron and Steel Complex, Rakwon Machine Complex, Pyongyang Thermal Power Complex, Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex and many other major industrial establishments.

Its teachers have successfully made scientific researches for speeding up the country's major projects, including the Huichon Power Station, in a qualitative way.

They have also contributed to updating light industry factories and developing new products.

They helped the Taedonggang Combined Fruit Farm modernize the dried apple slice production process and the Tudan Duck Farm set up an integrated computer-controlling production system and put its production processes on a sterilized basis.

The Pyongyang Flour-processing Factory, Pyongyang Hosiery Factory, Kanggye Koryo Medicine Factory and Sinuiju Chicken Farm also benefit from technical inventions made by teachers of the university.
