Protest against FTA Unabated in S. Korea

Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- More than 3 000 south Koreans held a meeting opposing the FTA with the U.S. outside the Posin Pavilion in Seoul on Dec. 3, according to the south Korean KBS. They included members of the Headquarters of the All-People Movement for Checking the Conclusion of the south Korea-U.S. Free Trade Agreement, opposition party assemblymen and citizens.

The participants slammed the GNP's railroading of the motion calling for ratification of the agreement, declaring it null and void.

At least 1 000 workers under the south Korean Confederation of Trade Unions held a rally calling for the nullification of the motion at the plaza of Seoul Railway Station on the same day.

They marched to Kwanghwamun Square, denouncing the authorities for their sycophantic act of humiliation.
