Pyongyang, December 3 (KCNA) -- Greece has been paralyzed again on Thursday, as private and public sector unions held a 24-hour general strike in protest of new austerity measures.

In the seventh general strike of the year which a great number of people flew into, schools and courts shut, train and ferry service ground to a halt and hospitals ran on emergency staff.

Strikers strongly urged the authorities to lift such austerity measures as wage and pension cuts and mass layoffs.
