S. Korea's Tightened Alliance with US Will Never Help

Pyongyang, December 2 (KCNA) -- The DPRK leading newspaper Rodong Sinmun in a bylined article Friday said the south Korean authorities' tightened alliance with foreign forces will invite nothing but curse and denunciation from the nation.

The south Korean authorities' moves to tighten "alliance" with foreign forces are an act of treachery little short of selling off the dignity and interests of the people, bedeviling the north-south relations and bringing the danger of a war to the Korean Peninsula, the article said, adding:

The south Korean group of conservatives said the alliance would bring benefit to south Korea but it is nothing but flamboyant rhetoric aimed to cover its treacherous true colors.

The south Korean ruling forces not only accepted all the requests its American master raised as for the passage of the "Free Trade Agreement" but also justified it, saying it is for tightened "economic alliance". He even pledged to "work hard for the interests of the United States."

Lurking behind this is its ulterior purpose to maintain power and serve out full term without trouble even by currying favor and supporting its master at the sacrifice of the interests of the south Korean people.

The group of conservatives' tightened alliance with the U.S. is also aimed to escalate the policy for confrontation with the DPRK being backed by its master.

As long as the south Korean authorities keep tightening alliance with the U.S. and intensifying the anti-DPRK conspiracy while paying no heed to their fellow countrymen, it is impossible to improve north-south relations nor is it possible to remove the danger of the outbreak of a nuclear war from the Korean Peninsula.

South Korea's intensified moves for alliance with the U.S. will disclose its nature as traitors. They will never be able to escape doom, sternly pushed by the angered people.
