FTA Protested in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 30 (KCNA) -- A candlelight rally was held in Seoul on Nov. 28 amid protests against the U.S.-south Korea "Free Trade Agreement" sweeping south Korea every day.

Attending it were thousands of people from all walks of life including members of civic and social organizations, personages of opposition parties, workers, peasants, religionists and youth and students.

The participants said that the "motion calling for the ratification of the FTA" railroaded by the "Grand National Party" is peppered with poisonous articles reflecting unilateral interests of the U.S. only.

They called for bringing Kim Jong Hun, chief of the trade negotiations headquarters, and others related to the negotiations to justice without fail.

They termed the present chief executive the chieftain who had the motion railroaded.

Noting that the present regime is digging its own grave through the conclusion of the FTA, they warned that the chief executive can not live in peace even a single day even after he leaves the office as the successive dictators did.

They called on different circles to rise up to force the treacherous regime to step down.
