Moscow, November 28 (KCNA) -- A spokesman for the Russian Foreign Ministry recently accused the West's sanctions against Iran.

Some Western countries' decision to apply additional sanctions against Iran will destroy the international efforts to establish the constructive dialogue relations with this country and aggravate the tensions, he said. There arises a question that expansion of the sanctions is being used for any other aim unrelated with the settlement of Iran's nuclear issue, he noted.

It is the invariable stand of Russia that Iran's nuclear issue should be settled politically and diplomatically, he stressed.
