Development of Minor Enterprises Urged in China

Beijing, November 27 (KCNA) -- A vice-premier of the Chinese State Council called for putting small and medium enterprises on a high level.

Speaking at a meeting held in Nantong City, Jiangsu Province, on Nov. 22, Zhang Dejiang said to develop small-to-medium-sized enterprises extensively is a long-term strategic task of China.

It is important to comprehensively implement policies and measures of the C.C., the Communist Party and the State Council to promote the development of minor enterprises on the basis of the view of scientific development, Zhang said.

It is also important to help smaller enterprises overcome difficulties and develop in a healthy way, the vice-premier added.
