Police's Violence Slammed in S. Korea

Pyongyang, November 27 (KCNA) -- The south Korean newspaper Hangyore carried an editorial on November 25 to condemn the puppet police's violence on the protesters.

On Nov. 23 the police fired water cannons toward the people staging a demo in Seoul to protest the railroaded "motion for ratification of the Free Trade Agreement", the editorial noted, branding this as a serious violation of human rights.

The Police Agency ordered local police offices across south Korea to use water cannons against demonstrators, it charged, adding:

Jo Hyon O, chief of the Police Agency, stirred up violence, instructing the policemen to actively use small arms.

It is just for the people to express anger at the railroaded motion which sacrifices 99 percent of the population only for one percent, and any violence can never check the candlelight actions.
