S. Korean Diplomatic Authorities' Servile Attitude Accused

Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- The Headquarters of the Movement for a Stop to U.S. Troops' Crimes and the preparatory committee of the "People's Power Changing the World" in a press conference on Wednesday accused the diplomatic authorities of fawning on the U.S.

A press release titled "No solution to GIs' crimes without revision of the South Korea-U.S. Status of Forces Agreement" (SOFA) was read out.

The diplomatic authorities conferred with the commander of the U.S. forces in south Korea on SOFA Wednesday. But they took a servile stand of preferring its improvement to revision, the press release said, adding:

This disappointed and enraged the people amid the GIs' crimes drastically increasing.

When girl students, Sin Hyo Sun and Sim Mi Son, were killed, the authorities worked out a proposal for improving the operation of the SOFA, but failed to put it into effect.

This proves that nothing can be solved without the revision of the SOFA.

The south Korean authorities, which always read the U.S. face, will be punished by history for their sycophancy to the U.S.
