S. Korean Police's Suppression of Religionists Flayed

Pyongyang, November 26 (KCNA) -- Christians in south Korea held a press conference outside the Police Agency building in Seoul on November 23 denouncing the puppet police for going on the rampage to crack down on protesters.

At the press conference, the speakers said that the police indiscriminately suppressed Christians who protested against the conclusion of the Free Trade Agreement on November 22.

The police committed violence against a woman Christian, injuring her. But it did not make an apology to her, they noted.

The police despotic suppression is touching off bitter anger of the people, they added.

They would bring a charge against the police for its crimes, they warned.
