Beijing, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Strategic Planning Bureau was inaugurated in the Chinese People's Liberation Army. An inaugural meeting for the bureau was held in Beijing on Tuesday.

Directly under the CPLA General Staff, the bureau will work out plans for the development of the army and supervise their implementation. It will also study major strategic issues and give recommendations concerning an overall distribution of the army's strategic resources.
