U.S. Embargo on DPRK Criticized by Bangladeshi Organization

Pyongyang, November 25 (KCNA) -- The Bangladesh Group for the Study of the Songun policy issued a bulletin titled "What sanctions and blockade seek" on Nov. 14.

Referring to the U.S. sanctions and blockade against sovereign states, the bulletin said:

The targets of the U.S. sanctions and blockade are those countries which stand for independence against imperialism or are located in regions of strategic importance or refuse to kowtow to the U.S.

The U.S. has imposed most tenacious and tough sanctions and blockade on the DPRK, in particular.

The successive U.S. ruling quarters have tackled to systematic and comprehensive sanctions and blockade against the DPRK in all fields including trade, finance and investment.

The U.S. seeks to worsen economic difficulty and disable overall national power as much as possible in the DPRK before containing it militarily.

It has also staged military exercises pushing the situation of the Korean Peninsula to the brink of war every year while persisting in sanctions and blockade against the DPRK.

It is anachronistic for the U.S. to realize its ambition for world domination by isolating the DPRK and other independent countries against imperialism through sanctions and blockade and containing them by force.
