Beijing, November 23 (KCNA) -- The Chinese State Council released a document approving a national plan of preventing drought damage on Nov. 17.

The document called for improving the capacity to prevent damages from drought and other disasters and ensuring a stable supply of water to towns and rural communities and a sustainable socio-economic development.
