Remains of More Martyrs Buried in Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- Remains of more martyrs were buried in the Patriotic Martyrs Cemetery situated in Sinmi-ri, suburbs of Pyongyang.

They included Kil Su Am, vice department director of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, who helped bring about the heyday of the Juche-oriented literature and art during the period for laying the party's foundation and worked hard to implement the party idea and line on literature and art through energetic creating activities, Rim Chun Hak, former honorary director of the ophthalmic hospital of the Korea General Red-Cross Hospital, who engaged himself in surgical operations in the spirit of devoted service for the people for more than half a century and Kim Kil Ryong, advisor-deputy director of the General Bureau of Land and Marine Transport of the Ministry of Land and Marine Transport, who devotedly defended the party and the leader during the Fatherland Liberation War and the building of the postwar rehabilitation and construction and made a contribution to building a prosperous country with high results, working at transport for dozens of years.

Burial ceremonies took place on Thursday.

Present there were Kim Jong Im, director of the Party History Institute of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, and officials concerned and the bereaved families.

Speeches were made at the ceremonies.

Speakers said the feats and lives of the martyrs are shining forever in the history of the country thanks to the great loving care and deep trust of leader Kim Jong Il.

The remains of the martyrs were buried in the graves.

The participants laid wreaths and bouquets before the graves of the martyrs before paying silent tributes to them.
