Russian Paper Hits at S. Korean Authorities' Moves for New War

Pyongyang, November 24 (KCNA) -- The Russian newspaper Patriot carried in its 43rd-44th issue an article titled "Who threatens peace."

South Korea introduced E-737 AWACS from the United States, the paper noted, and said:

The deployment of AWACS is aimed to secure the capability for preemptive attack on the DPRK from A to Z.

The south Korean warmongers had already got closeted with the U.S. on the matter of introducing strategic unmanned reconnaissance plane Global Hawk. This goes to prove that the south Korean military seeks to deploy latest war hardware able to monitor the depth areas of the DPRK and expand the scope of their operation.

Such moves are part of the strategic steps to perfect the capability for mounting preemptive attack on the DPRK.

Owing to the south Korean warmongers, a dangerous situation is prevailing on the Korean peninsula in which a new war may break out any moment.

The confrontation and tension between the north and the south are getting acute with each passing day despite the DPRK's positive efforts for detente and peace of the peninsula.

The reality clearly shows who wants detente and peace and who seeks confrontation and war.

It is the clear stand and disposition of the Korean people to answer good faith with good faith, provocation with resolute punishment and war with merciless retaliatory sacred war.

The south Korean warmongers had better abandon the foolish ambition to do harm to the fellow countrymen and act with discretion.
