Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) -- An earthquake with a preliminary magnitude of 5.4 rocked Hiroshima Prefecture, Japan on Nov. 21.

The epicenter was northern part of Hiroshima at a depth of about 10 kilometers.

An earthquake measuring 5.6 on the Richter scale jolted Papua New Guinea on Sunday.

The epicenter was northern waters of New Guinea Island.
