Rodong Sinmun Rebukes S. Korean Defense Minister's Rhetoric Hinting at Military Provocation

Pyongyang, November 23 (KCNA) -- South Korean Defense Minister Kim Kwan Jin sent "commanding letters" abetting confrontation and war against the DPRK to the frontline units, one year since the Yonphyong Island shelling incident.

The letters are tantamount to war outbursts which can be made only by a guy steeped in the extreme bitterness toward the DPRK and ambition for aggression on it to the marrow of his bones, says Rodong Sinmun in a bylined commentary Wednesday.

The letters were also aimed to make the "north's provocation" an established fact and justify and escalate the south's racket for war provocation and thus unleash a new war, says the news analyst, adding:

The past one year since the Yonphyong incident explicitly showed that the puppet military is made up of provokers and war maniacs who stoke military confrontation and strain tension between the north and the south.

He should have repented of having screwed up tension and gone on the rampage to provoke a war under the pretence of the incident. He also should have given assurances that such incident will never happen again.

But he talked rhetoric that the "north will surely provoke" hinting that he would orchestrate another farce of the "north's provocation" and start a war against it under that pretext.

Clear is that the south Korean warmongers have taken the path of a new war, swimming against the tide for detente and peace.

The south Korean puppets should clearly understand that their military confrontation and war against the fellow countrymen will bring final destruction to them.
