Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- The House of Koryo Compatriots has made its appearance in the capital city of Pyongyang.

The house has a total floor space of over 3 300 square meters.

Its first floor is designed to host cultural events.

There are a shop selling foodstuffs, Koryo medicines and folklore articles and a souvenir counter on the first floor.

There is a restaurant serving national dishes on the second floor.

The third floor has a more than 100-seat conference hall where various kinds of meeting, interview and banquet are available.

Hwang Ho Yong, manager of the house, told KCNA that the house is a multi-functional service center where visiting overseas Koreans meet with their relatives and other compatriots.
