Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- There is an optician's shop near Taedong Bridge in Pyongyang. It is well known for its good service.

The shop is furnished with up-to-date apparatuses needed for testing eyesight.

Its optometer automatically examines eyesight and helps adjust lenses to customer's eyes.

The head of the shop, Ju Chun Hwa, told KCNA:

"The shop has rendered services to many customers. Leader Kim Jong Il, with deep loving care for the people, saw to it that the shop is equipped with a modern optometer, a spectacle lens processing machine and scores of tools for making rims. When I see customers pleased to take glasses suitable for their eyesight, I feel the advantages of our socialist society."
