Photo Exhibition Marks Anniversary of DPRK-Hungary Diplomatic Ties

Pyongyang, November 22 (KCNA) -- A photo exhibition "History and culture of Hungary" opened with due ceremony here on Tuesday on the 63rd anniversary of the establishment of DPRK-Hungary diplomatic ties.

Present at the opening ceremony were So Ho Won, vice-chairman of the Committee for Cultural Relations with Foreign Countries, Ryu Sung Rim, chairman of the DPRK-Hungary Friendship Association, officials concerned, working people in the city and Miklos Lengyell, Hungarian ambassador to the DPRK, and a staff member of his embassy.

Speeches were made at the ceremony.

The speakers said the successes achieved in the course of development of the friendly relations between the two countries for the last 63 years are a fruition of the efforts of the two governments and peoples.

The photo exhibition would mark a good occasion for deepening the friendship between the peoples of the two countries, they said, expressing expectation that the friendly relations would grow stronger in the future, too.
