Beijing, November 21 (KCNA) -- Hebei Province of China has expanded the area under cultivation by 240 000 hectares for the last ten years through a land rezoning drive for increased grain production.

It has also pushed ahead with construction of irrigation facilities and work for improving low-yield farmlands.
